How it all started...
CleanBurn Bioenergy - from the beginning until now
CleanBurn was started back in 1999 by Bosse Augustsson and at that time focused mainly on all-oil burners. Then in a small, small room in a small, small industrial area.
In 2002, we also started selling biofuel boilers and for several years we developed adaptations of these for the Swedish market. Today, biofuel boilers are by far the largest part of the company's turnover, as well as spare parts and service for them.
2011 CleanBurn becomes authorized dealer for the Austrian quality brand HERZ which is a leader in the biofuel industry and we have had a close and good cooperation with them since then. It is nice to have such a large and reputable company behind us because it means security of supply and that boilers and spare parts are always available.
Eventually, we outgrew our old premises and moved into one part of a larger one. The other year we also bought the other half to make room.
In 2022 CleanBurn will become the general agent in Sweden for HERZ and we see the company growing all the time.
We have gone from being a small, insignificant company (but always with a great drive and desire to develop) to today having good partnerships with the very largest in the industry. It has taken a lot of work, sweat and determination, but now we are here.
Today, there are thousands of CleanBurn across the country and also some in the rest of Scandinavia.
In addition to Bosse himself, the CleanBurn team also consists of specialists in all areas, such as salespeople, plumbers, control engineers, chimney specialists and carpenters. Each one has many years of experience and great "know how" which permeates the entire culture of the company. It is a close-knit team where most have worked together for a long time and know each other well, which also guarantees team spirit and a desire to always do their utmost for the best possible results.
This is also our policy towards customers - it should just work! It should be easy to heat in an environmentally friendly way and we will not stop until everyone is satisfied. We should feel that we deliver the best possible equipment and the customer should know that it will work. We want to stand out as the company that makes things run smoothly, and if there are problems, we solve them!
Because we know what works, we have been able to streamline operations and make standard solutions that can be mass-produced and to which the customer can then add options as desired. This means that you get a quality product that is carefully tested and can go from the simplest and cheapest possible solution to very advanced depending on what the end customer chooses.
We also have our own chimney warehouse and a large spare parts warehouse, so there is a lot on the shelf when you need it. In addition, we have many long-standing partners in various sectors who always make sure to meet our requirements.
In short, we look forward to working together and will do our utmost to ensure that all parties are satisfied. In other words, as we always do.
And we think it's FUN! It's fun to get something tricky on the table and find the best solutions. It's when you love what you do that it becomes the best. For the customer, for us and for the environment!
